Not medical advice

Rhythm supports training and wellness decisions, but it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Use your judgment and work with a qualified clinician whenever needed.

1. Rhythm is a fitness tool, not medical care

Rhythm is designed for workout logging, wellness tracking, and performance guidance. It is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Eligibility and account use

You must be at least 13 years old to use Rhythm, and users under the age of majority must have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law. You are responsible for account security and for all activity performed through your account.

3. User responsibilities

You are responsible for using the app safely, providing accurate information, and making training decisions that fit your own health context. Always consult a qualified professional if you have concerns about training, nutrition, pain, or recovery.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Paid features are managed through Apple in iOS builds. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds follow Apple subscription policies. In-app access is granted based on the active subscription state attached to your account.

5. Third-party integrations

Apple Health, Oura, Whoop, and other wearables remain subject to each provider's own terms and permissions. Rhythm only uses that data for the features described in the app, and connection access can be revoked at any time. Whoop data is accessed through their official developer API and webhooks with scopes limited to recovery, cycles, sleep, workouts, profile, and body measurements.

6. Availability and limits

We work to keep the app stable and useful, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect sync, or the absence of bugs. Data exports, reminders, and wearable sync can depend on device permissions, platform behavior, and external services.

7. Liability limits

To the extent allowed by law, Rhythm is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a specific purpose. Rhythm is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from app use.

8. Dispute resolution, governing law, and class-action waiver

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first contact team@rhythmfit.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and Rhythm agree to resolve it by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in California unless we both agree otherwise. Either party may instead bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court. You and Rhythm agree to bring claims only in your or its individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. If any portion of this section is found unenforceable, the remainder will continue in effect.
